Free Trial Session
Come and give it a go!
To join a trial session, you should be able to:
Swim 50m front crawl stroke
Swim 50m breaststroke
Do a somersault in the water (or be willing to try!)
Demand for places in out taster sessions is very high, so we may not be able to accommodate your request for several months. Attending a trial session or beginner course is not an invitation to join the club: only swimmers who demonstrate sufficient water skills and confidence in the water will be invited, space permitting, to join the club.
For your trial session, please bring:
Sport (one-piece) swimming costume
Nose clip (if you have one!)
If you are new to synchro, fill out the form for the trial session to the left. You will be invited to the next taster session and beginners course. Swimmers who show good progress in developing basic skills will be invited to join the club.
If you are currently a member of a different club or you have previous experience with synchronised swimming, please complete the form below. Space permitting, we’re always happy to welcome new or returning members.
Competitive swimmers train twice per week. Recreational swimmers train once per week.
Payment is taken via standing order (details will be provided when you join).
As we are an affiliated synchronised swimming club and we are part of the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association, the governing body of British swimming) an additional cost will need to be applied to each member when joining and then at the beginning of each calendar year. These fees cover the member’s annual ASA fees and insurance. For 2017, the fee is £14.40 (Category 1) or £31 (Category 2) per swimmer per year.
